The Alaska Lodging Association presented the Dimond Center Hotel with the 2021 Property of the Year (less than 150 rooms) award. Also honored were Guest Services Manager Marrin Eighinger, who recieved the Rising Star (under 30) award. Receiving Employee of the Year (less than 150 rooms), were Jose (Jr) Tapia for  Maintenance/Security, Ron Shaddle for Guest Services Transportation, and Ernesto Marasigan for Housekeeping/laundry.
